It’s hard to believe we’re already in Nashville, so close to wrapping up the first leg of our journey. It has been lovely fall weather, but we’ve had a tough headwind for the past couple of days on the road.
We were SO excited to have our first official co-riders of our trip join us for the last 20 miles into Nashville! Sarah and Patrick (Bethany’s sister and her husband) survived the tough traffic and hilly terrain to ride in from Smyrna to Dave’s parents’ house in Nashville. It was so fun to have company as we rode! And they did a great job… so great that we’re expecting them to come meet up with us somewhere in Europe for a week-long tour.
We are in Nashville for a few days, hanging out until a Friday night wedding. We will hit the road bright and early Saturday morning for the 400 mile-trip to Abbeville, where Bethany is in a wedding. Pray that we make good time!

Sounds like a good way to see the country. I have done a lot of riding in the past but never carrying that much gear. Very impressive. I will keep up with your travels.
