We had so been looking forward to our day-long ferry ride south through the fjords… and it did not disappoint us!
We set off on the Don Baldo from Quellon, on the southern tip of Chiloe, and we arrived in Puerto Chacabuco some 28 hours later.
The first night was spent in open sea (which meant lots of boat-rocking!), so we were thankful that we had forked out the extra cash to sleep in a dorm-style cabin. When we woke up the next morning, the boat was moving a lot slower, and we were able to sit on the deck and enjoy these kind of views for the rest of the day!
