Today is Dave’s birthday, and we celebrated with a fiesta on the rooftop of GSS (our school). What a great time! Rolando and Nora, the school directors, threw a fantastic barbecue in true Guatemalan fashion. We had homemade guacamole and homemade salsa, as well as potatoes, steaks and tortillas hot off the grill. What a spread!

For dessert we had a delicious “Passion Fruit” cake from XelaPan, courtesy of our new friend Shelly. Feliz Cumpleanos, Dave! Thanks for having a birthday so we could have a fiesta!
