Many thanks to so many of our wonderful family and friends who dropped in to see us off at our Leaving Celebration! We were blessed and encouraged by this amazing show of support. We had people come from Atlanta, Huntsville, Birmingham, Carrollton, and of course Auburn to bid us farewell. We know it’s not easy for you to get away on a Saturday in the middle of the summer… so thank you! It means more to us than you know!
And… of course, we would be remiss to not mention Michael DeSalvo, Dave’s friend from “the lab” at GA Tech, who rolled into our driveway on a solar-powered bicycle! We didn’t see that one coming! Michael pulled out from Atlanta on his self-engineered bicycle at 8 a.m. and rode a full 120 miles to come to our party! What an entrance!
(In case you’re wondering, Michael and his rig got a ride back home with our mutual friend John Culp!)
